Kim, Timothy and Lydia - Pohnpei

Byung-Gi (Timothy) and Hyun-Soon(Lydia) Kim are Global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene since February 2002.

Timothy Kim had worked in the Philippines for 28 years in the area of evangelism and church planting, discipleship and leadership training, church revitalization and building project, while Lydia Kim had worked for more than 11 years as a treasurer for the mission endeavor.

 They moved to Pohnpei, the Federated States of Micronesia on September 05, 2016, and have been revitalizing Kolonia Church of the Nazarene by all means possible. 

Timothy Kim received B. Th. from Canadian Nazarene College in Canada in 1984 after completing the four year diploma course from Korea Nazarene Theological College (now, Korea Nazarene University) in South Korea. He earned Master of Divinity degree from Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1991 and B. A. in theology from APNTS in 1993.

Lydia Kim had attended at Korea Open Air University in South Korea for several years majoring Home Economics before she married to Timothy.  After many years' service in the Mission Field, by God's grace, she re-enrolled at the same university majoring English Literature aiming for better service in the mission field.

The Kim's have three sons: InnGee - ongoing military service as an interpreting officer of the Korea Air-Force; YongGee - enlisted to serve the military for 21 months by August 2017; JinGee - freshman by Fall Semester 2017 at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
