Serving Others...by All Means...in All Circumstances!

Nazarene - Serving Others Communicating the Gospel by all means is not just reserved for the tools of technology. Our personal witness is even more important than our mass witness. And there’s no better testing ground for a true testimony than in our times of crisis. Suwisa Supunya (Go), District NYI President for the Thailand District, is a shining example of this. Go is constantly serving other people around her, even recently as a patient in a hospital bed!

Early in September she had a serious motorbike accident that left her with a severely injured leg. She has pins in her left leg as it is broken in several places. While hospitalized until early November, she was an encourager of everyone who visited! She was often heard saying, “I just want to thank God no matter what my circumstances. I want God to be glorified even now.” In addition to her own joyful attitude, she used the time in the hospital to witness to everyone there. She shared a room with a combined total of 11 other patients, all of whom are now new friends as she shared the love of Jesus with them. Go continually asked her visiting colleagues, even via SMS (cell phone texting), “Please don’t forget to pray for my new friends”. In fact, after one such text and during a visit by Siripawn Malagul, Thailand District NMI President, Go shared that one of her hospital roommates received personal faith in Christ! Please continue to pray for Go as she recovers, for her new sister in Christ, and the many others who have been (and will be) touched by Go’s patient witness!

Currently, Go is living in a room at the Oikos Church of the Nazarene in Bangkok, Thailand where her church family is caring for her while she awaits the removal of the pins in another month or so.
