Welcome to the official website of the General Secretary/Headquarters Operations Office of the Church of the Nazarene.

This is an exciting time to be a member of the Church of the Nazarene! In October 2008, the denomination will celebrate its 100th anniversary. At the same time, the headquarters operations will move to a new facility in Lenexa, Kansas, that will be known as the Global Ministry Center. From this hub, ministries and services will emanate for a world-reaching endeavor.

From the early days of the denomination, God had a plan and purpose for the people who called themselves Nazarenes. The message of holiness, one that had social implications, burned in the hearts of early members. That passion is still alive and in fact has been revitalized in recent years. We have a hope-filled message that is a joy to share with people who are hungry for deeper meaning in life.

Our mission is simply stated: “To make Christlike disciplines in the nations.”  We proclaim the good news of the gospel in 151 world areas. The general secretary is charged with recordkeeping for these areas and the credentialing process of ministers as well as responsibilities for Manual procedural issues and legal questions.

We are here to serve the church. It is my hope that you will find answers to your questions as you connect to the various links on this site. If you are ever in Kansas City, stop by for a visit. I would enjoy meeting you.
