Connecting a New Generation
Beginning in 2002, the Church of the Nazarene launched a decadal emphasis on children and youth.  This joint effort between Nazarene Youth International, Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries, and Nazarene Missions International is focused on building connections between the church and its young people in order to establish intergenerational faith communities.

Third Wave
Third Wave is a conference for emerging youth leaders held once every four years.  By gathering youth and youth leaders from all around the world, NYI works to develop leaders through prayer, dialogue, worship, workshops, meals, and service projects.  Third Wave 2007, held in Johannesburg, South Africa, was attended by 220 young people representing 55 different countries.  The next Third Wave conference will be held in 2011.

Youth/Fuel Week
NYI encourages each Nazarene church to dedicate one week each year as an emphasis on youth.  We provide lessons and daily devotions, as well as downloadable posters and promotional materials to help make your church’s youth week a success.

Youth in Mission
Youth In Mission is an 8 week summer ministry opportunity for college and university students.  Each summer Youth in Mission places over 100 college students in ministry around the world.
