WM Communications Launches International Film Festival
By Asia-Pacific NYI Communications
January 10, 2008

Calling all young video/film producers! What’s your vision for the future? Show us what’s in your camera! Join the 100 Plus Film Festival.  World Mission Communications, along with Nazarene Youth International, and Jesus Film Harvest Partners is hosting this international film festival, which gives Youth the opportunity to share their hopes and dreams for the future.

Not only will Youth have the chance to win great prizes, but they will also be able to express to their generation in a creative, relevant way the hope they have in Christ for the future. Applicants can now register online. The web site www.100plusfilmfest.com was officially launched on January 4, 2008. Production tips and inspirational clips, together with specific information regarding the contest, can be accessed through the site. It will also serve as the screening room for all films submitted by registrants.

Two contest categories are available. One is a 30-60 second inspirational/ad, and the other is a 10 minute short film. Both require adherence to a phrase that registrants can select from a list on the web site which is directly related to the overarching theme: “My vision for the next 100 years."
Contestants can submit the films as early as February 2008. The deadline for submission is set on July 1, 2008. The international film fest will feature a series of webcasts in September 2008, culminating with a final awards webcast on October 4, 2008. Go to www.100plusfilmfest.com for more details.
