“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” (Luke 2:52).

Luke 2:52 tells us Jesus grew mentally as He grew in wisdom, physically as He grew in stature, spiritually as He grew in favor with God, and socially as He grew in favor with men.  Encourage your Caravan children to grow in all these areas.

John Wesley spoke of continual growth that occurs all throughout our Christian lives.  Wesley wrote “Yet he still grows in grace, in the knowledge of Christ, in the love and image of God.”

Just as continued physical growth in children is easily measured year-by-year; children are growing at measurable rates mentally, socially and spiritually as well.  By keeping this in focus, we can better help them grow beneficially in all these areas.  This year emphasize the need of continual growth in Christian experience in the lives of Caravan children.

As you plan the Caravan year:

•    Plan activities to help children grow in positive ways. 
•    Create excitement in children as they sense the amazing changes taking place within them. 
•    Encourage them to grow mentally, physically, spiritually and socially for Christ.
