Children's Mission Kit

Kidz Passport to Missions is a curriculum designed with a regional approach. It helps children, grades 1-6, learn how the Church of the Nazarene strives to fulfill the Great Commission, understand their role in our Christian mission, and learn how God calls people to a mission ministry.

The five-year cycle focuses on the following world areas:
Eurasia (2009-2010)
Mexico/Central America/South America (2010-2011)
Africa (2011-2012)
Asia-Pacific (2012-2013)
Caribbean/USA/Canada (2013-2014)
Eurasia (2014-2015)

A variety of topics are incorporated including: The call, preparation, and work of our missionaries; culture and mission; compassionate ministries; mission schools and hospitals; historical leaders; disaster relief; and volunteer ministries.

The Children’s Mission Kit contains materials for 12 lessons. 

The kit includes:
A Leader’s Guide with cultural information, fast facts, teacher tips, a scripture, lesson plans, and a mission story for each lesson.

A CD with 24 activity sheets for individual instruction and PowerPoints of the artwork from each mission book.

Resource Items (games, puzzles, posters) for group activities.




2009-2010: Eurasia

The 2009-2010 Kidz Passport to Missions curriculum features the Eurasia Region, which is rich in religious history and traditions. Lessons focus on the need for the message of the Church of the Nazarene, creative methods used to reach out to people in Christ’s name, and leaders who have answered His call and forged the way to build His kingdom in diverse cultures. This year’s curriculum specifically focuses on the countries of Albania, Armenia, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, and Ukraine.
