Children's Bible Quizzing 2008-09 Theme for Studies in Exodus

“Follow the Leader” in 2008-2009 as we study the book of Exodus! The theme is designed to follow the journeys of many biblical leaders. Some leaders were good and some were bad. However, each leader throughout the book of Exodus leads us to the ultimate leader – God!

How to use the theme:

•    Create a bulletin board using “Follow the Leader” as the title. Include a timeline on the board. During each “Dig Site,” add to the timeline a picture or visual representation of the lesson.
•    Decorate your classroom, competition rooms, and district quizzes around the theme. Be sure to use visuals from the lessons.
•    Each week, lead children in a game of “Follow the Leader” to their next “Dig Site.” This can be done through mazes, obstacle courses, or just fun movements!
•    Every week, bring a suitcase (Dr. Digalot’s suitcase) to the “Dig Site.” Inside the suitcase, have an object that relates to the week’s study.
•    Be creative! There are many ways to use “Follow the Leader,” Dr. Digalot, his famous suitcase, and Canteen, the camel, in your 2008-09 quiz year.
