2010 VBS GRANT GUIDELINES
Children’s Ministries International recognizes the tremendous potential Vacation Bible School’s have.  Through VBS grants, CMI partners with local churches and ministries to help provide WordAction VBS materials to:

• Partner with marginalized, new start, or churches with a cultural minority.
• Assist with churches that are facing financial difficulties, or that cannot otherwise afford to hold a Vacation Bible School.
• Bring the hope and love of Jesus Christ to children.

All Applications:

1. Must be approved at a district (above local church board) level.

2. Must be sent directly to Children’s Ministries International at least two months prior to the local Vacation Bible School.

3. Must be accompanied by the NPH order form. The VBS Grant covers up to $350 of WordAction VBS materials. (Children’s Ministries does not reimburse orders already placed by the local church or ministry.)

4. From churches and ministries who have not received funds in the previous three years will take priority.

5. Must be received between January 1, 2010 and July 1, 2010.

Grant recipients must:

1. Complete VBS Grant activities form within 30 days after the completion of the local VBS.

2. Must take an offering to support the Kids Reaching Kids Mission Offering Project.

EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The money raised through Kids Reaching Kids also impacts the lives of 15 international children each year by contributing toward their holistic care. Since 1991, Kids Reaching Kids has played a significant role in helping dozens of children receive much needed assistance.

PUBLICITY EXPENSES
A minimal amount of money is invested to provide the necessary publicity material for the Kids Reaching Kids project. These items include the Kids Reaching Kids website, a Mission Offering project promotional poster and interactive DVD. Click Here to request a free poster and DVD.
