Baby Day 2009
Each year, the Church of the Nazarene encourages denomination-wide participation in a special day just for babies and their parents! Traditionally, this takes place on the first Sunday in May. The purpose of Baby Day is to:

Baby Day 2009 are:
• To recognize the importance of infants and toddlers.
• To emphasize that discipleship begins when a child is born.
• To recognize the importance of sharing Jesus with infants and toddlers.
• To emphasize the significance of the entire family in the discipleship of each infant and toddler.
• To bring awareness to the importance of Children’s Ministry in the local church.
• To praise and honor those whose call from the Lord is in children’s ministry—especially the nursery.
• Make an eternal impact on the lives of infants and toddlers and their families.

Children's Ministries will include the Baby Day program pages on a resource CD and a full-color poster in its annual “Children's Week” mailing. It is typically sent to all churches in the USA and Canada in mid-February, and reaches local churches by early March.
