Baby Day

Baby Day 2008

Each year, the Church of the Nazarene encourages denomination-wide participation in a special day just for babies and their parents! Traditionally, this takes place on the first Sunday in May. The purpose of Baby Day is to:

• Emphasize the importance of infants and toddlers.
• Recognize the importance of sharing Jesus with infants and toddlers.
• Emphasize the importance of children’s ministry in the local church.
• Praise and honor those whose call from the Lord is in children’s ministry.
•To make an eternal impact on the lives of infants and toddlers and their families.

You can view and/or print the Baby Day program pages in Acrobat pdf format. These pages have information about Baby Day, including: a suggested timeline, theme-oriented activities, baby-friendly products, and promotional ideas.

You can download the Baby Day “Silent Skit” in Microsoft Word format.

Children's Ministries includes the Baby Day program pages and a full-color poster in its annual “Children's Week” mailing. It is typically sent to all churches in the USA and Canada in mid-February, and reaches local churches by early March.
