General Superintendent Stan Toler was the keynote speaker for the USA South Central Region Holiness Summit on September 27, 2009, held on the campus of Southern Nazarene University (SNU) in Bethany, Oklahoma.

Dr. Toler spoke from Romans 12:1-2 on “Holiness in Attitudes,” meshing together the importance of heart holiness and the need for positive attitudes. The message set the tone for the remainder of the three-day conference.

Dr. Toler not only preached at the summit but also was instrumental in selecting the speakers for the SNU Holiness Summit. The roster included educators, church leaders, and evangelists who shared the Church of the Nazarene’s foundational message of holiness. Jim Hill served as director of the event.

On Tuesday evening, September 29, at the conclusion of the final service, Dr. Toler anointed and prayed over general church leaders, holiness summit personnel, SNU President Loren Gresham, district superintendents, and pastors. The summit was concluded with the challenge: “Go forth and preach the message of holiness!”
