Dr. J. K. Warrick delivers the report |
For the first time the Report of the Board of General Superintendents (BGS), given at the annual General Board meetings by a member of the BGS, has been posted to the
www.nazarene.org web site in video format for downloading and viewing.
This is an effort to communicate the mission of the Church of the Nazarene, “To Make Christlike Disciples in the Nations,” to a wider audience.
As we state in the report, the general superintendents are convinced that our Wesleyan-holiness heritage is our best hope for the future.
This year’s presentation, “Called Unto Holiness—A New Century,” was prepared and delivered by General Superintendent J. K. Warrick on behalf of the five other general superintendents. This assignment is rotated annually.
The text of the report and accompanying slides are already online and available for downloading and viewing.
The 2008 General Board meeting was held in February in Overland Park, Kansas, USA, not far from the site of the new Global Ministry Center in Lenexa, Kansas, USA.
After reading the report or watching the video we encourage you to write us at
bgs@nazarene.org. We value the feedback.
