Warrick Preaches at Holiness Summits

Holiness SummitGeneral Superintendent J. K. Warrick delivered a proclamation of the holiness message during the Sunday night opening service of the Holiness Summit held October 4-6, 2009, at Olathe, Kansas, College Church of the Nazarene. This Holiness Summit was held for the MidAmerica educational region, hosted by Olathe College Church of the Nazarene, and jointly sponsored by MidAmerica Nazarene University, Nazarene Theological Seminary, and the Kansas City District of the Church of the Nazarene. Dr. Warrick also preached October 5 at the Holiness Summit in Ashland, Kentucky.

In urging pastors of the MidAmerica region to attend, Dr. Warrick wrote to them: “Because these holiness summits are so very important to our church and to the effectiveness of our impact on the world around us, I could not let anything keep me from being part of this Holiness Summit. I need to hear the messages of heart holiness as much as anyone.”

Holiness SummitThe Olathe and Ashland Holiness Summits were two in a series of such summits that have been held not only in the United States but also in several other world areas. They are the result of a grassroots-led movement that sprang up voluntarily out of a love for the holiness message and a passion to promote the complete life transformation that God wants for His people. The goal of these holiness summits is to proclaim the holiness message passionately, not to debate it. Ten holiness denominations have expressed interest in being involved with this vision and other holiness summits.
