The Christian Schools office supports and resources school and child care ministries offered by Churches of the Nazarene and serves as a liaison between Children's Ministries and the Nazarene International Education Association, the denominationally sponsored organization to support Nazarene schools and educators.

Mission:

The mission of Christian Schools is to promote, resource, and support school and child care ministries offered by Churches of the Nazarene.

Resources and Services:

• The NIeA e-Lin is a quarterly emailed newsletter to resource administrators, pastors, teachers, and child care providers.
• Provide guidelines to Nazarene Churches for setting up and maintaining a day care, preschool, elementary, or high school.
• Provide curriculum information, evaluation and recommendatins.
• Operate a central employment-assistance agency for Nazarene schools and employees.
• Serve as a liaison between Children's Ministries and the Nazarene International Education Association, the denominationally-sponsored organization to support Nazarene schools and educators.
• Respond to questions regarding general church policy toward Christian schools and child care ministries.
• Provide updates on significant and recent legal information that may affect child care centers and schools at the local level.

The General Board Bylaws of the Church of the Nazarene require Sunday School Ministries to register annually all schools and centers operated by local churches. To obtain a Nazarene School/Center Registration form, click here.
