 Baby Day

Baby Day 2007

Each year, the Church of the Nazarene encourages denomination-wide participation in a special day just for babies and their parents! Traditionally, this takes place on the first Sunday in May. The purpose of Baby Day is to:

• Emphasize the importance of babies.
• Recognize and welcome babies and their families into the church.
• Recognize the nursery staff and volunteers.
• Raise awareness of the church's ministry to babies.
• Raise awareness of the spiritual needs of babies.
• Make contact with new families.

Children's Ministries includes the Baby Day program pages and a full-color poster in its annual “Children's Week” mailing. It is typically sent to all churches in the USA and Canada in mid-February, and reaches local churches by early March.
