Children's Week 2007

Is your church doing an adequate job of reaching the families of your community for Christ? Is your church a place where families with children come to visit and stay? Has your church discovered children need to be the number 1 priority of your church? If not, then it is time to change. During Children's Week, begin moving your church in a new direction, with a new emphasis and a new passion for reaching children and their families.

Kidz Zone — Reaching, Teaching, and Connecting Kids to Christ is our theme for Children's Week 2007. Many churches successfully reaching young families in their community have learned to make their churches Kidz Zone churches.

• A Kidz Zone church places priority on making the church a kid-friendly place.
• A Kidz Zone church develops a kid-friendly environment through its facilities, kid-friendly programs, kid-friendly volunteers, and kid-friendly staff.
• A Kidz Zone church provides a strong, healthy children's budget to build the church of tomorrow by reaching the children of today.
• A Kidz Zone church reaches the children of the community and teaches those children spiritual skills to face the worldly influences of today.
• A Kidz Zone church REACHES, TEACHES, and CONNECTS kids to Christ.

During Children's Week, encourage your church to become a Kidz Zone church. A place where children become a church's priority in all it does. A place where families realize as they walk in for the first time they have found the church they have been looking for. A place where kids want to come again and again. A place where parents gladly bring their children. Become a Kidz Zone church where the people demonstrate that kids are a main emphasis and a major part of your church's identity.

Churches operating an effective Kidz Zone church are REACHING, TEACHING, and CONNECTING kids to Christ on a daily and weekly basis. Kidz Zone churches are growing and starting new Sunday School classes for kids and new adult classes for parents. A Kidz Zone church is a great place for kids and parents.
