Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary announced its new academic dean, Marie Joy Pring-Faraz. She will begin her new role on 3 May 2025.

The Nazarene General Hospital held a first-of-its-kind Chaplains’ Training Day at the Mission Station in Kudjip, Papua New Guinea, from from 7 to 11 March 2025 Over 24 men and women participated in the training.

A powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar on Friday, 28 March. The disaster has claimed more than 3,100 lives in Myanmar, with thousands more injured. The tremors were felt as far as Thailand, where at least 18 people lost their lives.

After Nazarene Youth International Korea (NYI) visited Thailand in January 2024 to launch its first missions trip in collaboration with Nazarene missionaries from South Korea, NYI Korea returned to Thailand in February.

More than 50 members of the Ululoloa Church of the Nazarene visited the home for the elderly in Vailele, Samoa, in late January. The local church’s Nazarene Missions International spearheaded this special ministry with the support of Nazarene Youth International.

The Panay District elected Danny Sison as its new superintendent during the assembly on 25 January 2025. Sison serves as the pastor of Pavia Church of the Nazarene.

The Asia-Pacific Region is pleased to announce Satish Manmothe’s appointment as the new field strategy coordinator for the Australia-New Zealand Field. Satish will assume his new role on March 1, 2025.

Shechem Children’s Home, supported by Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Philippines and Holistic Child Development, has partnered with the International Justice Mission and National Authority for Child Care to launch a foster care program for the survivors of online sexual exploitation of children.
