The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 23-27 October 2023.

Edwin Abla, 84, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away 24 October 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Arkansas, Nebraska, Texas, Missouri, Florida, Indiana, New Mexico, and Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Janice Abla.

Jerry Boggs, 77, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away 24 October 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Boggs, who passed away in 2021.

Jane Bowers, 79, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away 23 October 2023. She was the wife of William Bowers, a retired minister who served in Texas.

Patsy Freeland, 89, of Salem, Indiana, passed away 23 October 2023. She was the wife of Ronald Freeland, a retired minister who served in Indiana, Kansas, and Kentucky.

Estella McVey, 101, of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, passed away 21 October 2023. She was the widow of Vernie McVey, a retired minister who served in Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Michigan. Vernie passed away in 2002.

Paul Soto, 85, of Yuma, Arizona, passed away 21 October 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma, Arizona, and California, He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Soto, who passed away in 2018.
