In Memoriam fall leaves

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 8-12 January 2024.

Lois Casey, 93, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away 3 January 2024. She was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Casey. 

L. Jack Dell, 97, of Santa Monica, California, passed away, 25 December 2023. He was a retired minister who served in Georgia, Arkansas, and Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Tillie Dell.

Bert Ferguson, 74, of Londonderry, Ohio, passed away 7 January 2024 He was a retired minister who served in Kentucky and Illinois. He was preceded in death by his wife he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, who passed away in January of 2023.

Richard Phelps, 98, of Vass, North Carolina, passed away 10 January 2023. Richard passed away in 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Phelps, who passed away in 2018.

Conchita Rulloda, 76, of Port Orchard, Washington, passed away 28 December 2023. She was the wife of Ernesto Rulloda, a retired minister who served in the Philippines and California.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
