The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 29 January - 2 February 2024.

John Abshear, 93, of Upland, Indiana, passed away 28 January 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Norma Abshear.

Philip Bedwell, 85, of Centerview, Missouri, passed away 27 January 2024. He was a minister who served in Iowa, Alabama, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Karen Bedwell.

Lewis Brown, 78, of Waynesville, North Carolina, passed away 29 January 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Colorado, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Brown.

Jack Christner, 94, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away 27 January 2024. He was a retired minister, chaplain, and evangelist who served in Pennsylvania and Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Daryl Christner, who passed away in March of 2023.

Ray Leach, 91, of McMinnville, Oregon, passed away 28 January 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Oregon and Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Irene Leach.

Lorren Million Jr., 79, of North Dinwiddie, Virginia, passed away 27 January 2024. He was a retired minister who served in Virginia. He is survived by his wife, R. Pauline Million.

David Schooler, 81, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away 30 January 2024. He was a minister who served at Dayton First Church of the Nazarene. He served previously in Ohio and Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Jayne Schooler.

Ruth Wright, 83, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away 26 January 2024. She was the wife of J.L. Rip Wright, a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
