Nazarene Benefits USA
The person in this position will be responsible for benefit application processing, benefit verifications, benefit distributions, and processing miscellaneous service requests. He or she must be able to flourish as one of the primary representatives answering phone calls while delivering key plan details clearly to plan participants. He or she must be eager to learn employee benefits and must have a desire to understand how insurance plans, defined contribution and/or defined benefit pension plans work. Additionally, this person will support the Education Manager in completing cyclical and annual projects. This is not a remote position.
Global Education & Clergy Development (GECD)
The Wesleyan-Holiness Digital Library (WHDL) digital librarian will provide expertise and leadership in the creation, presentation, preservation, and assessment of digital collections and metadata system, policies, and procedures. This individual works collaboratively with the WHDL leadership and development teams in curating digital collections, communicating internally, and coordinating documentation and training for partners and users. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Library and/or Information Science or equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Experience in digital librarianship is required. Preferred qualifications include a working knowledge of a second language.
Nazarene Missions International (NMI)
The Convention Coordinator is responsible to help with the planning, organizing, and executing of the 2027 Online NMI Plenary Session and 2027 NMI Convention in Kansas City, Missouri. This role ensures seamless operations from pre-planning through on-site management and post-event evaluation. The Convention Coordinator will work closely with internal teams, vendors, venues, and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality experience that meets organizational goals and attendee expectations. This is not a remote position.
Nazarene Missions International (NMI)
The person in this position should be highly organized and detail-oriented in order to handle a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of the office. This role requires excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is not a remote position.
Global Education & Clergy Development (GECD)
The person in this position will coordinate initiatives, policies, and events for Global Education & Clergy Development (GECD) under the direction and supervision of the Administrative Director of GECD for all facets of advancing the ministry of the GECD department in support of the global Church of the Nazarene. Some of the tasks include supporting GECD initiatives, policies, and projects, managing updates to the IBOE Handbook and International Sourcebook, taking minutes, managing website updates, coordinating General Assembly exhibit and workshops, as well as coordinating event planning for the Global Nazarene Education Consortium (GNEC) Conference, Global Theology Conference, and other large meetings and events. Event planning includes registration, travel, meals, lodging, interpretation, etc. Previous experience in large event planning and hotel contracts is highly recommended. This is not a remote position.
General Secretary’s Office (GenSec)
This person will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the exhibit hall at the 31st General Assembly and Conventions (25 June-2 July 2027). This will include exhibitor registration, floor plan management, vendor communications, on-site execution, and post-event reporting to ensure a seamless and successful experience for all participants and visitors. This is not a remote position.
Information Technology
The person in this position plays a critical role in protecting and monitoring the global digital infrastructure of the Church of the Nazarene. Supporting a worldwide ministry with approximately 275 servers, global endpoints, and distributed systems, this position ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services essential to missions operations.
Working within a Microsoft 365, Azure, and Okta identity framework, the specialist utilizes tools including Cynet, ManageEngine, and SpyCloud to proactively detect, investigate, and respond to security events. The role also monitors adherence to Arctic Wolf phishing training to help maintain strong human-layer defenses. All security practices are guided by the NIST Cybersecurity Framework to ensure consistent, scalable, and standards-based protection across global systems. This is not a remote position.

Location of Global Ministry Center Positions
The GMC is the administrative hub for the Church of the Nazarene denominational ministries in 164 world areas. The GMC is conveniently located in Lenexa, Kansas, with easy access to I-35 and I-435 and within short driving distance to Kansas City International airport. All GMC positions report to this location.
