MNU announces online bachelor of business administration

by | 13 Jan 2016

Students seeking career preparation in business will have a new opportunity at MidAmerica Nazarene University this fall. The online bachelor of business administration will begin its first class in August. The 26-month program will offer 45 credit hours in business courses such as management, economics, ethics, and strategy in back-to-back eight-week courses.

The new program joins 18 other professional and graduate programs. In 1987 MNU was one of the first universities to enter the accelerated adult and graduate degree market, says BBA Program Chair Yorton Clark.

“MNU has a proven history of providing education that fits the needs of adults completing a degree and seeking career advancement,” Clark says. “I’m excited about the addition of this online program that is not only convenient, but is also a sought-after degree that’s applicable to multiple fields in business.”

Clark also pointed out that as students look to their future goals, this program offers curriculum that is easily built upon.

“Completing this degree will allow students a seamless transition to an MBA program,” Clark says.

Students may begin the program if they have at least 45 hours of transferrable college credit and a 2.0 GPA or higher. Each eight-week course is taught by MNU School of Business faculty who, according to Clark, are experienced educators with a true desire to see students succeed.

Eight of MNU’s School of Business programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
