The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 6-10 March 2017.

Greeta (Conrad) Cubie, 85, of Marion, Indiana, passed away 23 February. She was the widow of retired minister Alexander Cubie, who served in New York. Alexander Cubie passed away in 1991.

James Fox, 82, of Melrose, Massachusetts, passed away 9 March. He was a retired minister, serving in New York, Ohio, Michigan, and Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Fox. 

David Hoagland, 80, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away 4 March. He was a retired minister, serving in Ohio and Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Martha (Roberts) Hoagland. 

Michael Ice, 76, of Salem, Illinois, passed away 1 March. He was a retired minister, serving in Kentucky and Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Joan Ice. 

Virginia (Freeman) Jackson-Luff, 86, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away 3 March. She was the widow of retired minister Claud Luff, who served in Indiana. Claud Luff passed away in 2016. 

Hazel (Evans) Mariage, 87, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away 6 February. She was the widow of retired minister Ray Mariage, who served in Illinois, Ohio, and Arkansas. Ray Mariage passed away in 2014. 

Stephen Merki, 59, of La Plata, Maryland, passed away 6 March. He was a retired minister, serving in California and Maryland. He is survived by his wife, Diane Merki. 

Kathleen Scutt, 89, of Bourbonnais, Illinois, passed away 2 March. She was the widow of George Scutt and Wayne Welton. George Scutt, who passed away in 1989, served in Indiana and Tennessee and led the Northwest Indiana District as superintendent. Ordained elder Wayne Welton passed away in 1970.
