The Nazarene Missions International District Council in Argentina's Cuyo District held a lay leader training day at Belen Church of the Nazarene in Rivadavia, Argentina, 5 May. The event's theme was "Forming Leaders After God's Own Heart" and was organized by District NMI President Maria Geroli.

The event featured workshops about Maximum Mission initiatives, leading seminars, and preaching. Throughout the day, leaders shared previous missions testimonies and information on future missions offerings in the area.

Training centered around the Discípulos en Ministerio (Disciples in Ministry) resources, a series of modules developed by the South America Region to train lay people how to engage in the different ministries in their local congregation.

The council also shared the Cuyo District NMI accomplishment reports, which highlighted past service projects including Impact of Love—an event where they collected non-perishable food items for children’s food programs—and several fundraising events organized to purchase materials to repair the roof of a local church building.

Mabel Fernandez, pastor of Plumerillo Church of the Nazarene in Mendoza, Argentina, concluded the event with a sermon and encouraged the group to make Christlike disciples in their region using the tools they learned throughout the day.
