The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 7-11 May 2018.

William Brecht, 79, of Monroe, Louisiana, passed away 4 May. He was a retired minister, serving in Louisiana and Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Brecht, in 2008.

Fern Burgess, 101, of Mebane, North Carolina, passed away 20 April. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister H. Malcolm Burgess, who served in Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Ontario, Vermont, Maine, and Rhode Island. H. Malcolm Burgess passed away in 2008.

Donald Dakin, 55, of Krum, Texas, passed away 2 May. He was a minister, serving at Hope Community Church of the Nazarene in Denton, Texas. He previously served as a pastor in Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Tara Dakin.

Ernestina Daniel, 78, of Santa Fe Springs, California, passed away 5 May. She is survived by her husband, retired minister Isidro Daniel, who served in California.

Reba Dunlop, 80, of Vicksburg, Michigan, passed away 3 May. She is survived by her husband, retired minister and district superintendent Ronald Dunlop, who served in Maine, New York, Indiana, and Ohio and led the Maine District.

Richard Gillespie, 84, of Grimshaw, Alberta, passed away 3 May. He was a retired minister, serving in the United Kingdom and Alberta. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Gillespie, in March 2018.

Mary Russum, 77, of Georgetown, Mississippi, passed away 22 April. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Robert Russum, who served in Mississippi and Texas. Robert Russum passed away in 2015.

Gaylene Williams, 59, of Udall, Kansas, passed away 7 May. She was a retired minister, serving in Kansas. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Williams.

Miriam York, 95, of Fullerton, California, passed away 4 May. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister and missionary Leonard York, who served in California. Leonard York passed away in 2007.
