BGS calls Nazarenes to pray, fast, give for Ebola relief efforts

by | 05 Dec 2014

For months, the Church of the Nazarene has been responding to the needs of sisters and brothers in West Africa who have been affected by the Ebola virus. The global church is continuing to partner with local churches to bring critically needed supplies, educational materials, and a compassionate presence to those in need. The Board of General Superintendents asks Nazarenes around the world to join them as they pray, fast, and give.

To download the video, prayer guides, and fasting resources, or to give financially, visit ncm.org/EbolaRelief.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
