Venezuela evangelism workshops encourage community outreach

by | 22 Feb 2019

Pastors and leaders from across the Venezuela First District participated in a series of workshops 7-9 February called Route of Hope. Led by Alfredo Gómez, the event centered around Jesus’ plan for discipleship and encouraged participants to share their faith.

Leaders offered several tools to help the local churches reach their communities, including the JESUS Film, EvangeCubes, and similar evangelistic balls, bracelets, and hats.

The event was held at multiple sites, catering to the locations of the participating churches.

Pastors working with the Route of Hope have already testified to the positive results and fruit they have seen in their congregations.

Each day more churches are learning to better witness to the communities and are learning how to carry out the Great Commission.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
