Brazil educators gather to strategize

by | 30 Aug 2016

Nazarene educators from Brazil gathered at Nazarene Theological Seminary of Brazil August 5 and 6 to work together in theological education and make plans for the future of the institution.

There were representatives from the country's districts, including decentralized theological education (Educación Teológica por Extensión Descentralizado, ETED), as well as coordinators and district superintendents. Jorge Julca, regional education coordinator, and seminary rector Geraldo Nunes presented workshops, devotionals, and papers. Brazil Sub-Regional Director Manuel Lima closed the meeting with words of encouragement and a challenge to all present.

Nazarene Theological Seminary of Brazil serves the Church of the Nazarene by preparing those God has called to ministry and Christian leadership in Brazil.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
