South America seminary librarians train in new technology

by | 12 Jul 2018

Librarians from several South America Church of the Nazarene educational institutions met 26-29 June for workshops at Seminario Teológico Nazareno del Cono Sur (Nazarene Theological Seminary of the Southern Cone) in Pilar, Argentina.

The Librarians were trained to use a new library management program called OPALS, which will allow for better library administration at their respective schools.

Sharon Bull, emeritus director of the Northwest Nazarene University library in Nampa, Idaho, USA, and Debbie Bradshaw, director of Library Services at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, served as event instructors.

Representatives from the Seminario Teológico Nazareno del Perú (Nazarene Theological Seminary of Peru), Seminario Nazareno del Área Central (Nazarene Seminary in the Central Field; Bolivia), and STN CS were present at the event.
