More than 60 leaders from Haiti gathered for an evangelism and church planting workshop from 18 to 20 February at the Nazarene Seminary in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

At the Evangelism with Passion training, they shared ideas at roundtable discussions and were trained on how to prepare mentors for church planting. The trainings were conducted by the regional evangelism coordinator, Milton Gay, in collaboration with Ernst Jaques. Gay challenged leaders to continue spreading the glory of God through mentors working with teams of church planters in Haiti.

The attendees also heard testimonies of how the JESUS film is transforming many lives in the districts of Haiti and how it has positively affected their growth. They thanked God for all the new believers that were added in 2019.

Attendees received evangelism packages that included a briefcase with a tablet containing evangelistic films, a ball and an evangelistic cube, an audio Bible, and other useful materials for the ministry. In addition, they received the book Evangelism With Passion as part of the tools.

These packages will be distributed to more than 300 leaders who are part of the church planting team, including Nazarene International Youth (NYI) leaders.
