The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 28 June-2 July 2020.

E. Bernice Brooks, 85, of Pasco, Washington, passed away 26 June 2020. She was a retired minister, serving in New Mexico and Idaho.

Samuel Cleare, 95, of Bourbonnais, Illinois, passed away 29 June 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Mertle Cleare.

Harley Duncan, 98, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away 1 July 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Kansas and Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Duncan, who passed away in 2007.

Mae Hoskins, 93, of Georgetown, Kentucky, passed away 28 June 2020. She was the widow of retired minister Raymond Hoskins, who served in Illinois, Kentucky, and Michigan. Raymond passed away in 1996.

C. Edward Irwin, 82, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away 28 June 2020. He was a retired chaplain, evangelist, and minister who served in Tennessee, Illinois, Ohio, Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca.

Francis Ketner Jr., 88, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away 27 June 2020. He was a retired minister, serving in Pennsylvania, Kansas, Illinois, and Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ketner, who passed away in 2012.

Glenn Lord, 89, of District Heights, Maryland, passed away 23 June 2020. He was a former Nazarene minister who served in Kansas, Indiana, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Alaska. He is survived by his wife, Vella Lord.

Lan Nguyen, 73, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away 25 June 2020. She was the wife of minister Hoang Van Huynh, who pastors Chicago Uptown Vietnamese Church of the Nazarene.

Barbara Whitby, 78, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away 25 June 2020. She was the wife of retired minister Herman Whitby, who served in Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
