Argentina camp leaves youth 'On Fire' to influence communities

by | 10 Feb 2017

More than 400 young people from the Argentina Central District gathered January 27 through 29 for On Fire, a camp directed by district Nazarene Youth International president Juan Ignacio Marino and his team. The camp was centered on Leviticus 6:13: "The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out."

The youth experienced the presence of God through devotions, plenary sessions, times of praise and worship, and altar calls. Each day's sessions focused on one thing the youth can do — awaken, act, and impact — to influence a world that needs Jesus Christ to attain salvation and be reborn to a new life with Him.

On Fire featured national and international music bands and several speakers, including Ana Maria dos Santos, David Gonzalez, Adrián Intieri, Leandro Barreto, and District Superintendent Marcelo Correa.

The camp ended with God's promise to all those who accept the challenge of impacting lives through the message of salvation: "And I will be with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20b).
