In late April, tornadoes ripped through the southern U.S. killing more than 340 people in one of the deadliest tornado outbreaks in U.S. history. In addition to lives being lost, thousands of homes were destroyed and families displaced from Arkansas to North Carolina.

Nazarene Compassionate Ministries and Nazarene Disaster Response are on the ground in affected areas providing help where they can. NCM released the following information for individuals desiring to help in this effort.

Pray unceasingly.

Our first and best response is prayer. Personnel on the ground have asked Nazarenes around the world to join them in prayer. Pray especially for those grieving the loss of loved ones. Pray for those beginning the process of putting their communities back together. Pray for those working long hours to clear debris, repair homes, and offer comfort.

Give generously.
