The Iglesia del Nazareno Centro de Alabanza y Proclamación in Oaxaca, Mexico, recently baptized 80 people. In addition, they were also welcomed as members of the church.

The baptisms were carried out in the city of San Jacinto Amilpas with the presence of more than 200 people who witnessed the public expression of faith from their new brothers and sisters in Christ,

One of the baptized, Francisco Juárez Díaz, who is a taxi driver said, “I had a total change in my personal life and in my family life. I received the Holy Spirit, and the experience was so strong that I began to give offering every Sunday. I created a group of fellow taxi drivers. I bring them together and I tell them about the miracles that God has done and how He is the only one who can transform our lives.”

During the church service, the 80 people received their baptismal certificates and became members in full communion.

"Now they are part of our church family," said Pastor Juan de Dios González.

Senior Pastor Elías Betanzos shared a message about the commitment to live the Christian life.

“I promise to be a pastor of whom you are not ashamed,” Betanzos said. “And your commitment is to grow in the faith; put your life in order; and be willing to love, forgive, and restore the people who are close to us.”
