The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 10-14 January 2022.

Rebecca Abell, 82, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 4 December 2021. She was the widow of Bill Abell, a minister who served in California, Arizona, Ohio, and Nebraska. Bill passed away in 2000.

Marvin Denton, 79, of Quitman, Louisiana, passed away 10 January 2022, He was a retired minister who served in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Denton.

Billy Hale Jr., 67, of Henrietta, Texas, passed away 7 January 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Oklahoma and Texas. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Hale.

Charles Johnson, 83, of Meridian, Mississippi, passed away 12 December 2022. He was the pastor of Fitkins Memoriam Church of the Nazarene for more than 60 years. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Johnson.

Earl Keena, 87, of Oroville, California, passed away 7 January 2022. He was a retired minister who served in California. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores Keena, who passed away in September of 2021.

Gerald Law, 74, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, passed away 10 January 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Oregon and Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Law.

Patricia Lloyd, 73, of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, passed away 2 January 2022. She was a retired minister who served in Virginia.

Blair McKim, 85, of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, passed away 9 January 2022. He was a retired minister who served in New York. He is survived by his wife, Donna McKim.

Kenneth Noonan, 86, of Killeen, Texas, passed away 6 January 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Noonan, who passed away in 2019.

Titus Smith, 30, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away 8 January 2022. He was a minister who served in Ohio and Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Smith.

William Taylor, 92, of Lindale, Texas, passed away 12 January 2022. He was a retired minister who served in Texas. He is survived by his wife, Reba Taylor.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
