by | 30 May 2019

The Foundry Kids’ annual Ignite Children’s Leadership Conference, to be held 7-10 October at Central Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa, Kansas, has announced the event keynote speakers.

The keynote sessions will feature Dan Boone, author and president of Trevecca Nazarene University; Chris Folmsbee, president of Burlap Ministries; Jessi Marcus, pastor of Koinonia at Jacob’s Well Church in Kansas City, Missouri; Shawna Songer Gaines, pastor at Trevecca Community Church; and Tim Gaines, associate professor of religion at Trevecca University.

This year’s conference features theologians from both within and outside of the Nazarene denomination who are thought leaders and practitioners of innovation.

“We believe that theological training is of the utmost value for children’s pastors and leaders,” said Kyle Tyler, Ignite Conference coordinator. “We’re excited to bring this lineup to Ignite to help form us as thinkers, leaders, and theologians.”

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
