The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 3-7 October 2022.

Thanks to the generosity of Nazarenes around the world, the Church of the Nazarene is able to continue spreading the transformational love of Christ in every corner of the world. Resources are now available for the upcoming Offering of Thanks for Nazarene Missions.

A new Annual Pastor’s Report (APR) has been launched for the Church of the Nazarene as of 1 October 2022. Changes to the old report were made to allow for enhanced representation of the global church.

A Venezuela church took a team of congregational leaders to Las Virtudes, the most difficult-to-reach church on the Llanos District, in order to help disciple and train leaders in that community. The team hosted four nights of services where the gospel of the Kingdom was preached to all the people

Super Typhoon Karding (known internationally as Noru) hit the region of Luzon, Philippines, on 26 September 2022, leaving destruction in the surrounding provinces.

Hurricane Ian, one of the most powerful storms recorded in the United States, made landfall in Florida on 28 September as a Category 4 storm with sustained wind speeds up to 155 mph (250 km per hour), a day after hitting Cuba.

Evansdale Hope Church of the Nazarene might be small, but its reach into its Iowa community is mighty. At this year’s Bless Evansdale Day, the church of just over 30 people served more than 600 community members with a school supply giveaway, haircuts, and food.

More than 1,500 people from 116 churches on the Nazarene Verapaz del Norte District in Guatemala were baptized on 4 September. One week later, they were received as full members in their different congregations.
