More than 400 children and adolescents joined a special service called “The Best Gift,” held at the Casa de Bendición Church of the Nazarene in San Juan de la Maguana, Dominican Republic.

Nearly 800 people attended the International Congress for Pastors and Leaders, organized by Mexico’s Oaxaca Northwest District. The participants are from various parts of Mexico and other countries, such as the United States, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and Peru.

The youth ministry of the Church of the Nazarene in Rositer Carballo, Costa Rica, is experiencing significant growth since adding a new ministry. Currently, about 11 people are part of the youth ministry team, and about 65 young people meet every Friday.

Multiple people were baptized last year in Mexico thanks to the ministry of their family member, Miguel Mendoza, who is the pastor of Hispanic Ministries at Shawnee Church of the Nazarene in Kansas.

The First Church of the Nazarene in Rio Abajo, Panama, handed out 500 personal hygiene kits and served 11,900 hot meals to migrants who arrived in the country. In addition, they handed out clothing, shoes, milk, diapers, and medicines

Through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, the Church of the Nazarene is responding to the needs of thousands of migrants from different countries who are passing through Honduras.

The Church of the Nazarene is actively responding in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic after Hurricane Fiona caused destruction on both islands in September. The hurricane, with winds of 140 kilometers per hour (87 mph), caused heavy flooding in southwestern Puerto Rico.
