Ukraine church vows to continue ministry despite missile strike
The Odesa Church of the Nazarene building was severely damaged during a barrage of missile strikes in Odesa, Ukraine, during the early morning on 23 July. The explosion blew out all of the windows and rendered the doors unusable, causing the church to shut down for over a week.

In the planning and organization of the event, they took the lead and offered their skills to the church. It allowed us to create connections in the community and present the plan of salvation. Madagascar experiences growth thanks to church planting initiative

Recently, District Superintendent Georges Patrice Ratovoarilala led a drive to evangelize and plant churches in villages toward the northern part of Madagascar with a 10-person team from the cities of Antananarivo and Mahajanga.
Recovery classes bring holistic care to Indonesia community
Nazarene Aletheia Christian Church, led by Pastor George Sorontou, started the Saya Pengikut Kristus (SPK program) in 2008. The church has completed 38 cycles since then. SPK program is a recovery class designed for those struggling with addiction, divorce, and other difficult situations. They are required to read one to two chapters in the Bible and then give a report or share their learning with their friends. They are also invited to create an accountability group to support and help each other.
