The Church of the Nazarene in Nigeria has grown through an emphasis on missions, sharing Christ with others just as the love of Christ was shared with a Nigerian soldier many years ago.
Over the course of his career, Timothy has worn the hats of a husband, a father, and a pastor. When he moved to the FSM in 2016, he started an outreach to the island children.
Ashrafieh Church of the Nazarene in Jordan closed its doors for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, on Pentecost Sunday, the church was able to hold its first in-person service since March 2020, which has given new life to the congregation’s ministries.
Emmanuel Guerrero has been a leader in his community of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, since he was an adolescent. As he got older, he began to feel a call to missions and was set to be a part of the Genesis program, a missionary program for young adults on the Mesoamerica Region.
The compassionate ministry of Iglesia del Nazarene Juan Noé in Arica, led by Niza Alvarez, decided to start an open dining room called Sembrando Esperanza (Sowing Hope). Currently, they deliver around 140 breakfasts and lunches every weekend, with the goal of adding two more days in the week.
