The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 24-28 May 2021.

Homer Adams, 99, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away 25 May 2021. He was an educator, serving as Trevecca Nazarene University president from 1979 to 1991. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Adams.

William Couchenour, 87, of Vicksburg, Michigan, passed away 11 May 2021. He was a retired minister and educator who served in Kansas and Illinois. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Couchenour.

Susan Frederick, 79, of Alhambra, California, passed away 19 May 2021. She was the wife of Thomas Frederick, a retired minister who served in Pennsylvania and California. 

Patricia Schlough, 82, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away 20 May 2021. She was the wife of Donald Schlough, a retired minister and chaplain who served in Oregon, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Michigan, Illinois, and Florida.

Glendon Stroud, 83, of Madison, Indiana, passed away 6 May 2021. He was a retired minister who served in Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Colorado, West Virginia, Kentucky, Florida, and Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Stroud.

Myrna Van Ostrand, 88, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away 25 May 2021. She was a retired minister and widow of Kenneth Van Ostrand. Together, they served in Nebraska and Wisconsin. Kenneth passed away in 2000.
