Brazil Nazarene Theological Seminary elects new rector

The Brazil Nazarene Theological Seminary (Seminário Teológico Nazareno do Brasil) Board of Directors elected Geraldo Nunes Filho as rector of the institution for 2016-2018.

Nunes has served in different areas of the church and is currently pastor of the Castelo Church of the Nazarene in Campinas and integral ministries coordinator for Brazil. He is married to Waner Nunes, has two children, Lucas and Louise, and a grandson, Matheus.

Geraldo Nunes Filho earned a degree in theology from Nazarene Theological Seminary Sudamericano, a master's degree from Seminario Nazareno de las Américas, and received an honorary doctorate from MidAmerica Nazarene University. 

The board also listened to reports and celebrated the advances of theological education in the country.
