Myanmar relief efforts bring gospel to families affected by the earthquake

On 16 May 2025, the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) team of the Myanmar Central District completed its fourth round of relief efforts for earthquake victims who lost their homes and are suffering from emotional trauma, fear, and hopelessness.
While the NCM team conducted a trauma debriefing program for children, God paved the way to open a prayer clinic for parents and adults who needed mental and physical healing. The team has helped over 700 children overcome their fears and had the opportunity to share Jesus with them.
The team also shared the gospel to over 400 parents and introduced them to Jesus as their Savior, and prayed for the healing of some. Four people who accepted Jesus as their Savior were baptized and are now new members of the Disciple Gospel Church of the Nazarene in Mandalay.
These new believers actively participate in the NCM program and Lydia Evangelism, Discipleship, and Church Planting Ministries (EDC). Two new preaching points have been established near the prayer clinic and through the Lydia EDC follow-up ministry.
Pastor Adam Joshua, superintendent of the Central District, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support and said, “As we prepare to assist victims in rebuilding their lives, we request your continued support through prayer and generous giving in Jesus Christ’s name.”
