Andrew Dayton was elected superintendent of the Northeast Indiana District on 17 May 2025. Dayton has pastored Indianapolis First Church of the Nazarene since 2020.

“We are honored to be elected to serve the great pastors and churches of the Northeast Indiana District," Dayton said. "We trust that the Lord will direct our steps if we will listen to his voice, and we are committed to listen and let God lead.”

Dayton’s assignment is effective 16 June 2025. He follows Timothy Kellerman, who was recently elected superintendent of the West Texas District.

Andrew has served as a minister since 2003. After spending time at Anderson New Life Church in Indiana, he was called to pastor Shipshewana Church of the Nazarene in October of 2004. He served there until 2013, when he moved to pastor Leavenworth Church of the Nazarene in Washington. Dayton served at Leavenworth until April of 2020, when he became pastor of Indianapolis First.

In addition to pastoral service, Dayton served as the Northeast Indiana District’s children’s camping director (2007-2013) and Nazarene Discipleship International president (2010-2013).

He earned a bachelor’s degree in English education from Olivet Nazarene University.

Andrew and his wife, Lori, reside in Fishers, Indiana, and have four children.
