When the Eurasia North Field noticed the effects of COVID-19 and war on the young adults in their churches, they decided to put together a camp. That camp helped these young adults reach out and evangelize their peers in their respective communities.

In December, Pastor You-Sin Houe hosted all the Nazarene churches in the Perth, Australia, area for a Christmas celebration where volunteers passed out backpacks and school supplies to local children at Cullacabardee Aboriginal Community Church of the Nazarene.

General Superintendent Emeritus W. Talmadge Johnson passed away on 6 December 2023 at age 86. Elected at the 25th General Assembly and Conventions, Johnson was the 33rd General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene.

Jim Bond was appointed superintendent of the Oklahoma District on 30 November 2023. Bond has been the superintendent of the Kansas District, serving in that role since 2014.

Lois Taylor, 97, of Pittsfield, Illinois, passed away on 27 November 2023. She was a retired missionary who served for 19 years in Guyana, the Bahamas, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago, alongside her husband, Samuel Taylor.
