South Asia FSC to undergo surgery for cancer

by | 24 Jul 2015

South Asia Field Strategy Coordinator David Phillips was diagnosed with colon cancer this week in Bangkok, Thailand.

The tumor was discovered during a regular check-up. The cancer does not appear to have spread throughout his body.

"Please pray for David and [his wife,] Naomi as they finish up some work this week and prepare for surgery, which will take place this coming Sunday, July 26, in Bangkok," said Todd Aebischer, Asia-Pacific regional communications coordinator.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
